60th Annual Jeepers Jamboree

     I was lucky enough to attend the start of the 60^th Annual Jeepers Jeep Jamboree Event in Georgetown, California. For those of you who may be unfamiliar, the Jeepers Jamboree event is held every year. It is a chance for “Jeepers” from across the country to meet up and share their mutual appreciation for the brand by embarking upon a four-wheeling trip on the infamous Rubicon Trail in the Sierra Nevada mountain range. It was my first time at any event like this but I felt immediately welcomed as all participants were happy to be there. It was an exuberant atmosphere and the passion that people had for their vehicles and the event was inspiring. Various kits, as well as personalized customizations made the vehicles as unique as the owners.

     Driving down the main drag in little Georgetown, the streets were lined with an array of Jeep models. A number of people that attended the Jamboree had purchased their Jeep(s) from Lasher Auto Group. I met a couple of Jeep enthusiasts who recently bought a Jeep Rubicon from our dealership in Elk Grove. They told me that they were thrilled with their Jeep and that they had come to the Jamboree to look for parts to customize their Jeep and to get some inspiration for future installments. I also met a couple that had traveled all the way from Nebraska for the event. However, they are professional tuners by trade and have been going to Jeep events like the Jamboree for decades so I picked my jaw up off the ground. Whether a seasoned Jeeper or a first-time spectator, the Jeepers Jeep Jamboree is worth the crisp, alpine drive.

    

     The Jeepers Jeep Jamboree is an event with flair, style and enthusiasm. Above all, it is a place where Jeep culture rules. The Jeepers Jeep Jamboree is a wonderful niche event that combines Jeeps, rugged terrain, good people and unforgettable memories. If you’re looking for a place to meet like-minded people and to test the limits of your Jeep or if you just want to feast your eyes upon Jeep eye candy, the Jeepers Jeep Jamboree is the place to be.
